Now and again we all need time out to just sit.  Not working, not socialising, not playing just sitting and relaxing so that your brain and your body have time to have a bit of breather.

So why not head over to the the Bizarre, the Unusual and the Unexplained for something to take your mind of the stresses of daily life?

For those of you who follow me on Twitter (@itsdansmith), you may have already come across this blog, as I Tweeted earlier a post that was on the blog about a 9 year old boy who played some amazing guitar with the one and only Buddy Holly.  I sat amazed for the full 9 minutes and 40 seconds as this blues God and his little friend blasted out some great guitar work.

With the name the Bizarre, the Unusual and the Unexplained, you may feel that the blog is going to revolve primarily around strange and weird aspects of life.  Whilst there is undoubtedly a few posts like this, there are many posts that simply make you sit back and think, making this blog one of those that really is suited to everyone.

Everything Is History is a prime example of one of these blogs and has posts ranging from Deltona, Florida to The Gettysburg Address.  Completely different and varying, whilst I’m aware of the Gettysburg Address, i’ve never even heard of Deltona in Florida, yet I still felt compelled to read through the entire post.

There is also a great part of Everything Is History called ‘This Day In History’ which provides information on something that happened in a certain point in history on the same day.  From birthdays to quotes and information you would simply find interesting, ‘This Day In History’ is a fantastic area of an already very interesting blog.

As it’s name would suggest, Knownrandomness is a blog that is full of completley random posts of interest.  From quotes from Albert Einstein through to a hilarious post on how Lord of The Rings could have been completely different, there’s even a few posts on computer games and popular myths and facts.

Definitely a blog for everyone, Knownrandomness is one that I’ve been visiting on a regular basis when I’ve needed to be taken away for five minutes from the monotonous tasks of every day life.

Sound a bit deep?

How about when I just fancy reading something that’s funny, different or simply completely random?
