With a name like Ind Trends, which stands for Indian Trends and is a blog about recent news and what’s trendy in India, I had to explore a little further.

I have to be honest and if someone asked me to take a look at a blog on Indian news, it would enter my To Do list at the top and slowly work its way down.  With never being to India, aside from any headlines in the news, the only information I ever hear about India is when i’m finding out about the cricket.

However, the name really did suck me in – it was imaginative, a play on words and I liked it.

The theme of Ind Trends isn’t particulary outstanding and isn’t breaking any barriers in regards to design, but the content is so vast and varied, whilst all relating to India, that the few areas of the design that need tweaking are easily overlooked.

For instance, when I first took a look at Ind Trends, there were articles on the main page about diploma resulsts and the Republic Day in India.  Interesting in their own right, it was an article just above those two that caught my eye and I would never have guessed that within 30 seconds of visiting the site I would be singing along to the Indian national anthem.

It’s actually a pretty good national anthem, as far as national anthems go and it even has a short version if you’re new to the language.

Or are a footballer.
