Created for (in the words of Rebecca herself) the sole purpose of reassuring “the 1 in 6 jobless or underemployed Americans that, no, they’re not crazy – the world is”, the blog is full of up-to-date information, facts and resources on unemployment in the United States of America.

Based in the UK, you’d have thought that I might not have had any interest in a blog related to American unemployability and to be honest, that’s something I thought, too. Until I read it, that is and I was instantly hooked.

Adding her own sense of humour into her posts, the information on You’re Hired…Not! makes for very interesting reading, whether you’re currently being affected by unemployment or not.
